At UKREiiF 2025, LRG is proud to host EmpowerHer: Lead As You Are — a panel session that challenges this idea and explores how we create space for authentic, inclusive leadership across the industry.
Why it matters
Only 1 in 7 C-suite roles in property are held by women. Many feel the pressure to perform a version of leadership that doesn’t reflect who they are — being seen as too soft or too assertive, talked over in meetings, or mistaken for support staff.
This isn’t just about women — men also face expectations around ‘alpha’ leadership and may be unsure how to show support or vulnerability. This session will explore how we break down those barriers, together.
What to expect
Moderated by Alexandra Notay, and featuring industry leaders including Debra Yudolph, Peter Kavanagh (LRG), Hanna Afolabi (BWRE) and Hannah Cooper (LRG), the panel will:

• Explore the impact of unconscious bias and the ‘double bind’
• Discuss how men can be active allies
• Offer actionable strategies for more inclusive leadership
